These terms and conditions form a part of, and amend Plastiq's Terms of Service. Any claims related to the rewards or benefits discussed in these terms are subject to the arbitration, choice-of-law, and liability provisions in Plastiq Terms of Service.

Accept Referral Rewards Program

Plastiq's Accept referral program ("Accept Referral Program"), is limited to invite only active account users ("Users"), subject to the terms and conditions of the Accept Referral Program. Once satisfied both the Users and the new business that they refer ("New Business"") to Plastiq will receive a $100 gift card ("Referral Reward"). 

Here's how it works:

• Invited Users will receive an email with their unique referral link in it ("Referral Link"). You may share this Referral Link with businesses you believe would be interested in using Plastiq to start accepting payments.

• The business(es) you invite must then use your Referral Link to sign up before the expiration date in the Accept Referral Program. This link will take them to a Plastiq branded webpage so they can create their own account. 

• Once their application has been approved by our team, the New Business will have 60 days to receive their first payment with Plastiq.

All Referral Programs are subject to the terms and conditions within this document. After all conditions are met both you and your referral will receive the Referral Reward within 30 business days.

Additional terms and conditions. Referral invites are non-transferable. Both accounts must be in good standing to earn the Referral Reward. Any condition must be met before 12:01 AM ET to qualify. Each reference to "$" is related to US dollars. Rejected, returned, or canceled payments will forfeit any promotional offer. Referral Rewards will be delivered via a digital gift card, selected by Plastiq, to the email addresses associated with each party's accounts. Plastiq is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Subject to availability and User is limited to receiving five (5) Referral Rewards per year. Gift cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Some gift card restrictions apply. The value of the Referral Reward may be paid out in local currency and subject to the currency exchange rate selected by Plastiq. Plastiq reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Referral Program at any time. 

FFD Referral Program

Plastiq offers its active account users ("FFD Users") an FFD referral program ("FFD Referral Program") to encourage sharing Plastiq with their contacts. For each contact who registers with Plastiq via the FFD Referral Program and completes the terms of the FFD Referral Program, the FFD User will earn fee-free dollars ("FFD").  Application of FFD credits may take up to one business day to appear in the appropriate User Accounts, excluding any delays caused by payment review or processing. You are prohibited from advertising and/or purchasing traffic through PPC networks (e.g. Google, Bing) to drive traffic to the Plastiq website with a FFD User's referral code. You are prohibited from creating similar looking websites and/or landing pages in an effort to create more referrals. Posting of any referral codes on any Plastiq social media channels or paid advertisements is prohibited. Violation of this provision will be subject to account termination, forfeiture of FFD's, or other actions.

Plastiq reserves the right to withhold any FFDs for any referrals that are potentially the result of fraud as determined by Plastiq in its sole discretion, to determine the legitimacy of the referrals. Any attempt to manipulate, falsify or inflate referrals to intentionally defraud Plastiq or any violations of the terms of the Terms of Service or these Terms and Conditions constitutes immediate grounds for Plastiq to terminate the account and will result in the forfeiture of any FFDs owed.

In order for FFD credits to be applied, any referral must be an individual or business whose identity has never before been associated with a Plastiq User Account. Plastiq reserves the right to withhold or reverse FFD crediting, or to take further action including but not limited to closing your Plastiq Account if it suspects improper usage of the FFD Referral Program. Plastiq, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to limit the number of incentive bonuses given under the FFD Referral Program. For more information, please refer to our FFD Referral Program.

What are Fee-Free Dollars

Fee-free dollars (FFDs) are dollars that can be sent through Plastiq without any fees. They can be earned or granted in association with various actions, events, or Promotions.

If a payment's principal amount is less than the total FFDs available on your account, no fees will apply to the payment and any leftover credit will apply to the next payment. If a payment's principal amount is greater than the total FFDs available on your account, then you may apply the fees and will only be charged on the principal amount in excess of the amount of FFDs available.

The FFD balance of an account will reset to zero 90 days after the last time they were used or earned.

Promotional Cash Rewards Program

For a limited time, Plastiq is adding cash rewards to its user accounts ("Cash Rewards"). Cash Rewards will be available to invite only active account users ("Users"), subject to the terms and conditions of the Cash Rewards program. 

Here's how it works:

• Invited Users will receive an email with the details of a Cash Rewards offer ("Cash Rewards Offer").
• The User must open and click through to their Plastiq Account using the link in the email.
• They can then satisfy all conditions of the Cash Rewards Offer before any expiration to receive the cash rewards. 

All Cash Rewards Offers are subject to the terms and conditions within this document. Cash Rewards will be sent within 30 days of the promotion ending. 

Additional terms and conditions. Cash Rewards are limited to one reward per eligible invite unless otherwise expressed. Invite offers are non-transferable and eligible only to an account in good standing. Any condition must be met before 12:01 AM ET to qualify. Each reference to "$" is related to US dollars. Rejected, returned, or canceled payments will forfeit any promotional offer. Any transactional condition requiring a monetary amount will be calculated by excluding the Plastiq fee, wire transfer, cross-border, expedited delivery, or other fees. Transactions completed using other promotional offers or discounts will not be counted towards the satisfaction of any Cash Rewards conditions. Cash Rewards will be delivered via a digital gift card, selected by Plastiq, to the email address associated with each User's account. Plastiq is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Cash Rewards will be sent within 30 days of the promotion ending. Gift cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. All conditions must be satisfied to qualify for a Cash Reward. Some gift card restrictions apply. The value of the Cash Reward may be paid out in local currency and subject to the currency exchange rate selected by Plastiq. Plastiq reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Cash Reward at any time. 

Suspension and Termination of the Programs

Plastiq reserves the right to suspend or prohibit the ability to earn, use, or redeem any promotional reward and other benefits referenced above in the event a user:

• violates any of the terms and conditions described above, contained within the respective invite, or with Plastiq's terms and conditions.
• acts in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws;
• engages in any misconduct or wrongdoing in connection with their Plastiq account or any promotional rewards or other features; or
• engages in any fraudulent or inappropriate acts.

Any promotional reward or other benefits earned and/or accrued in violation of the above items may be revoked by Plastiq in its sole discretion. The ability to earn, use, or redeem Cash Rewards or other benefits will be terminated if either the User or Plastiq places an account in a status that does not permit the User to use the services.

The promotional program, as set forth above, may be changed, suspended, or terminated at any time without notice. Changes may include, among other things, modifying the eligibility requirements for promotional rewards or other benefits, changing the amount of promotional rewards or other benefits, imposing additional restrictions, or terminating the benefits altogether, including outstanding rewards.
